Growing Connections
Who we are
At Young Soul Events, we believe health and wellbeing shouldn’t feel out of reach or out of touch. Rooted in Teesside, we create uplifting, community-driven experiences that bring people together to feel good.
We’re here for real people.
Health and wellbeing is at the heart of what we do. We want to encourage learning, connection and nourishment by shining a light on how we live. What we eat is a vital part or our lives and shapes our energy, mood, and overall wellbeing, we want to help people discover simple, healthy choices that make a big difference without any pressure or labels.
Whether it’s through mindful workshops, 1-1 coaching to make your goals a reality or nutrition based events that simply make you feel good. Our approach is affordable, and inclusive because looking after yourself shouldn’t cost the Earth.

Where it began
“My journey into nutrition didn’t start with trends or labels it began with curiosity. While supporting someone close to me through a new diet, I found myself immersed in nutrition research, quickly realising how confusing (and often conflicting) information around food can be. That curiosity led me to study Healthcare through evening classes at a local college, before progressing to Teesside University, where I achieved a First-Class BSc (Hons) in Food & Nutrition. During this time, I also transitioned to a vegan lifestyle, aligning my everyday choices with my long-held values around animal welfare, sustainability and environmental impact.”
Experience in Food & Sustainability
“During my final years at university, I secured a role in food sustainability, an area that continues to underpin my work today. I went on to become the Food Partnership Coordinator for Middlesbrough, where I worked across the entire food system with community groups, academics, local authorities and strategic partners. During my time in this role, I supported Middlesbrough to become one of only six other towns in the UK to achieve the Sustainable Food Places Gold Award.
Leading this work offered a clear view of the real-world challenges people face around food, health and sustainability including access, affordability, education and choice. It also reinforced the importance of approaches that are practical, inclusive and rooted in compassion rather than judgement. I never stopped learning even after University, I completed Carbon Literacy and Motivational Interviewing Training, amongst other things.”
Our approach
We hope to bring together nutrition knowledge, experience and systems-level understanding to design events, coaching and workshops that feel accessible and supportive, not overwhelming.
At Young Soul Events, we believe:
good nutrition should be understandable and achievable
sustainability shouldn’t be all-or-nothing
ethical choices work best when they’re grounded in real life
At the heart of everything we do is a desire to support people to feel more confident in their food choices, more connected to their values, and more hopeful about the future we’re shaping together.
